EXECUTIVE EVENT PLANNER
Amy Goldman, Executive Event Planner and Owner of It’s Your Party!, is passionate about creating magnificent, one-of-a-kind, and unforgettable celebrations for her clients. She believes in the importance of celebrating life’s special occasions, and she is dedicated to giving each one of her clients the utmost personal attention so that they can relax and thoroughly enjoy the planning process. Amy loves working with people and she relishes the opportunity to be creative through every event that she plans. Amy’s mission is to ensure that each It’s Your Party! event is unbelievably fun, has a distinctive ambiance, is spectacularly elegant, and displays an overall presentation that will be remembered and treasured forever.
Before starting It’s Your Party!, Amy earned her Bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, at Brandeis University, and then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University. Amy and her husband, Adam, have four children – two boys and two girls – and they live in Sharon, MA.
EVENT PLANNER
Angela Giovine, an expert in the Event Planning Industry, is a prized Planner and On-Site Coordinator for It’s Your Party! Angela started her career in the field through several music-related positions, and she then made the transition from bands to brides when she began working for Rentals Unlimited in 2003. After almost 5 years at Rentals Unlimited, Angela continued on to work for other special event related companies such as BBJ Linen and Mass Concerts. Angela is a New England Board Member of ISES (International Special Events Society), holding the distinguished position of V.P. Communications. Se was also the recipient of the ISES New England Chapter Leadership Award in 2009 as well as the recipient of the ISES Merit Scholarship in 2010.
Angela and Amy met while Angela was working at Rentals Unlimited, and from the start, Angela was instrumental in getting It’s Your Party! off the ground. Angela’s vast experience in the industry, coupled with her ingenuity, diligence, organizational skills, creativity, cutting-edge style and her pursuit to make each event perfect, has made her an invaluable member of It’s Your Party!’s team.
EVENT PLANNER
Harriet Kahn, with her years of experience planning dazzling events – ranging from opulent parties, avant-garde Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, extraordinary fundraisers and spectacular weddings – is a treasured member of It’s Your Party!’s team. Harriet made her mark in the industry when she started her own Event Planning Company, called Party Ideas, in the mid-80’s. As Amy’s mother, Harriet is the individual who taught Amy the ins-and-outs of event planning, and it is she who inspired Amy to become an Event Planner. When they put their heads together, Harriet and Amy make an unstoppable mother-daughter-event-planning team! Harriet’s creativity, sense of design, organizational skills, vision, pursuit of perfection and amazing ability to ‘think outside the box’ makes her a phenomenal Event Planner and a strategic member of It’s Your Party!
